Returning Individual Research Results to Participants: Guidance for a New Research Paradigm

The National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine has released a new report focused on the value of and methods to return individual research results to participants. According to the report, the justification for returning results becomes stronger as both the potential value of the result to participants and the feasibility of return increase.
